Frequently Asked Questions

We’re a hybrid estate agent! We do everything a high street agent does (and more), our offices just aren’t ‘typically’ on a high street location. We have strong brand presence across the East Midlands and our team are well known throughout their areas.

You can pop into our offices to visit us (if we’re not out on appointments) or we can come direct to you to make things easier. You’ll find us on all property portals, most social media platforms and you might see our adverts on the back of buses, local football kits, magazines, charity supporting events and our branded vehicles.

Alongside offering experienced estate agency services, we see your sale through to completion. We will value your property, take your photos and videos, market your property online, use for sale boards, conduct your viewings, progress your sale and work with solicitors and mortgage advisors to get you through to completion. We can then drop your keys off to your new property or meet you in our offices to collect them.

Of course! We offer FREE, NO OBLIGATION property valuations - We’d love the opportunity to value your home and provide you with some honest, professional advice!

You can arrange this by giving us a call, emailing us, popping into a branch or booking online!

Our network of property professionals offer unrivalled Estate Agency experience throughout the East Midlands. Our partners have all previously managed successful Estate Agency branches within Northampton, Nottingham, Leicester, Lincolnshire and Warwickshire before opening their own division of HomeMove! Our team offers a wealth of property industry experience and we’re proud of our experience, local market knowledge and the work carried out within local communities.

Yes, we will ask you to sign an agency agreement which states all of the agreement terms and conditions. This agreement will confirm the agreed asking price, initial marketing period and our fee’s in writing so everything is transparent from the beginning. Unlike other agents, we wont tie you into a contract for extremely long periods as we’re confident we’ll be able to sell your home in the agreed term.

As professional Estate Agents, we work within strict guidlines and have to abide by property regulations and legislation. Due to Anti Money Laundering legislation we are required to verify the identity of our clients. This ID verification is part of the instruction process.

Yes, we can. We offer a tailor made service where our property partners will explore the best option for each vendor on an individual basis. However, if you do pay a fee upfront, this is non refundable.

Estate Agents have to consider a huge array of factors when valuing your home. This includes the location, size, type and style of property, surrounding land and the condition including any improvements you may have made. Our expert property partners carry out detailed comparisons, local market research and take account of market activity and the conditions to provide you with realistic pricing.

Communication is key! We promise to keep you up to date as often as you’d like - we like to build relationships with our customers and keep you in the picture. We will contact you via phone, email, post, in branch or at you property. You will always receive updates for:

You can speak to anyone in our team, from initial contact to completion. As an independent business, communication is key - all of our team members will know who you are, be familiar with your property and your situation. We feel its the personal touch that makes us stand out - you’re not just another house sale to us!

Absolutely! It’s part of our service, as standard. We manage your sale from initial valuation to final key handover on completion day. HomeMove will always help you progress your sale by liaising with other agents in the chain, speaking to mortgage brokers or lenders and dealing with your conveyancing and legal representatives.
